Dreaming of Gucci Gardens

Undoubtedly alluring and fascinating the city of Florence is everything anyone can dream of. Florence offers some of the finest shopping and eating throughout the entire Tuscan region. Our advice would be to start your Florence stay at the charming Villa Pomina. The home has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, as well as a swimming pool. To start, if you have a love for art galleries; our suggestion would be to check out the Uffizi gallery. Not only is the Uffizi gallery filled with incredible art it also is filled with incredible architecture. The building itself was built in 1560, originally created as office space. It went on to hold the collection of art collected by the Medici family. Be sure to stop for lunch at L’Brindellone. They have the most incredible pizza and of course don’t forget to order a glass of wine with lunch, it’s the Italian way!

If you are an admirer of all things fashion and luxury head on over to the Gucci Gardens. The Gucci Gardens house some of Gucci’s most collectable items. The entrance way holds many specialty items that are able to be purchased for the right price.

After you have spent the day admiring original Gucci dresses take a stroll to Mignone Confectionary for a mid-day sweet treat. Mignone is a family run sweet shop that has been around since 1928. Find all of your chocolate and sour candy needs here.

We recommended finishing the day at the Duomo church. Filled with history and panoramic views, this is the place to go. The gothic styled church built by architect Arnolfo di Cambio in 1296 and completed by Filippo Bruellsechi in 1436. The church’s rooftop is accessible to all visitors with a ticket. Highly recommended for a perfect view of the city!
