4 Must-Try Restaurants In Paris

June 14, 2016

Oh, Paris.

There’s truly nothing more magical than walking around the city of lights with friends and loved ones. Whether it’s touring the Eiffel tower, enjoying the amazing art work at The Louvre, or simply taking a stroll down the Champs-Élysées, there is so much to do in so little time in Paris. One thing we should always make time for, however, is great food. The food in Paris is renowned across the globe for offering some of the most unique treats and tastiest delicacies. Take a look at four of our favorite restaurants that you shouldn’t miss on your vacation.

1. Breizh Café

Located in the 3rd arrondissement, this adorable little eatery offers some of the best crepes Paris has to offer. A family friendly environment, this café is constantly bustling. Offering a combination of both savory and sweet crepes, one can order anything from poached peaches and raspberry sauce to smoked herring with Saint-Malo potatoes. This is definitely a place to stop by if you’re looking for something delicious but also on the cheaper end!

2. Semilla

Positioned in the 6th arrondissement, this modern French bistro located on the rue de Seine is a hit among locals and tourists alike. With a menu that changes on a daily basis served with only the freshest ingredients, people are often surprised to learn that the average price for lunch ranges from 20-39€ and dinner 40-59€, a steal for the caliber of food served.

3. Seb’On

Placed in the 9th arrondissement, this small restaurant seats about 20 people and has an extremely cozy feel. It does have a long waiting list so make sure you call a couple weeks ahead. With this being said, the reservation will definitely be worth it. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is exquisite with a very friendly staff. Some of our favorites include the shrimp ravioli to start, along with the duck in sangria sauce.

4. Le Taillevent

Situated in the 8th arrondissement, if you’re looking for a more upscale, fine dining establishment, this is the place for you. It offers a spacious, formal dining area with excellent service. The ambiance is lovely as well as the amazing food. A dress code is enforced with men typically wearing jackets/suits. If you go, make sure to order the chocolate soufflé! This is a dining experience like no other for those looking to drop a little bit more on a meal.
