Painting Holidays in Italy

Take a “Painting Holiday” this summer in Italy at the charming and elegant Valley of the Well. A beautiful Tuscan farm house hosted by the owners Chris and Krysia, called the “Val di Pozza,” or the Italian translation of Valley of the Well. The local Italian couple host guests from Tuesday to Tuesday, which they call a “painting holiday” for the cheapest flights and less crowded travel days.

The Val di Pozza is warm and welcoming with just a short distance to the Medieval Village of Borga. Along with calm and inspirational painting studios, Chris and Krysia offer accommodations for non-painting activities. They offer a comfortable stay with a swimming pool and luxurious rooms in the stone farmhouse, which sits on acres of land. For the non-painters, they can spend their time walking the land, fishing, wine tasting, Italian cooking in Sienna, horseback riding, bicycling, sightseeing other villages nearby, and practicing photography skills.

The art classes’ range from beginner and non-experienced painters to most experienced painters, with creative courses designed to give individual attention to groups who would prefer extra painting guidance. Most people stay two weeks for an even longer painting holiday, in which the hosts offer a 10% discount for the second week. The couple also meets you at the Airport in Pisa to help with the exhausting traveling process.

The Val di Pozza is located in one of Italy’s richest botanic regions with breathtaking views of the snow-capped Alps. The restored farmhouse sits on the grounds that are perfect for both sunset watching and peaceful stargazing at night. Full dining services are provided daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in both Italian buffet style and sit-down meal style. Beverages are served throughout the day to keep both the feel of a holiday vacation and home atmosphere.
