Local Tuscan women, who share recipes from their “nonnas” or grandmas in Italian, teach the cooking classes with fresh and homemade ingredients. In fact, before every cooking class, the local men of the village take you along to the fresh farm fields and the local village’s markets to pick the quality ingredients that you will be using in each cooking class.

At Cook in Tuscany, the hosts are extremely welcoming and treat you like family. Linda and George Meyers, originally from New Orleans, found their true calling in Tuscany. The happy couple live in the village of Montefollonico and host the amazing and memorable cooking program at Cook in Tuscany.

The meals to cook consist of authentic and tasteful dishes such as gnocchi, ravioli, tagliatelli (handmade flat spaghetti) bruschetta, herb chicken, stuffed flowers, and of course pizza! All of which are accompanied by complimentary and unlimited wine.

But of course, the most important part of the cooking class is getting to eat your amazing dish afterwards! After eating the delicious meal you have made with your group in the beautiful gardens, the program continues with a playful tour guide through the charming medieval streets of Montefollonico and shop at the local boutiques and markets, as well as experience wine and cheese tours of the village cheese makers and wineries. At the end of the experience, you will stop for a cup of cappuccino and enjoy tastings of delicious Tuscan pastries and homemade gelato!
